Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT registration in CT and a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract performing CT and X-Ray examinations.

Details

• Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-Ray procedures
• Shift runs 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• No call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• ARRT registration in CT required; X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist registration also required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• State license required if applicable
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and patients weighing 20+ pounds
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity required to interact with and receive feedback from patients

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing CT and X-Ray examinations, evaluating images for proper exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, instructing patients on exam preparations, and setting up and organizing procedure rooms
• Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
• Role requires strong independent judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to emergency situations
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity to patient and co-worker needs
