Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position in Verde Valley, AZ, supporting a diverse caseload across orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological, lymphedema, and pelvic health with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• Hospital-based ambulatory outpatient clinic supporting orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological, lymphedema, and pelvic health
• Daily patient load of 11 patients
• Schedule is M–F, either 5x8 or 4x10 shifts; day shift hours are 8:00–16:30
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• May be asked to float to surrounding outpatient clinics
• Charting is done in Cerner
• No on-call requirements
• Free parking available on-site
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active AZ PT license or Compact license required for consideration
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Experience with Cerner or similar EMR preferred

Additional Information

• The associated hospital is a short-term acute care, teaching facility with Level IV trauma designation and 87 staffed beds
• Business casual attire required (no scrub color specified)
• All staff are expected to adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA)
• Time off requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to unit manager approval
