Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT X-Ray Tech with 2+ years of CT experience for a 13-week travel contract at a critical access rural regional hospital in New Mexico.

Details

• Work setting is a critical access rural regional hospital in a CT/Catscan department
• Performs diagnostic CT and general radiographic (X-ray) examinations
• May work independently or as part of a radiologic team, supporting a rural regional facility
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday through Friday and Saturday
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current CT experience required
• ARRT (primary) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with CT designation required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required, completed through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to work independently in a critical access rural hospital environment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic medical radiographic examinations including CT and general X-ray
• Must be knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures
• A dosimeter (OSL or TLD) is required for this role and must be provided and tracked on a quarterly basis
• Former permanent staff of this facility must wait one year before being considered as a traveler
• All required certifications must be current and on file for consideration
