Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a night shift position in a hospital radiology CT department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a Massachusetts CT license.

Details

• Work in a hospital radiology CT department
• Shift hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Uses GE CT scanners (experience preferred but not required)
• Charting in Epic and Visage
• Rotating shifts may be required as needed

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross is not accepted at this location
• 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in CT scanning, IV contrast administration, and oral/GI contrast administration
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• EMR documentation experience required; Epic experience preferred
• GE CT scanner experience preferred
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
• Responsible for ensuring patient safety across all procedures and delivering excellent customer service
• Works under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
