Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for an acute care hospital setting in California, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of Cath Lab experience, an active CA RN license, and on-call availability.

Details

• Position is in the Cath Lab unit of a 320-bed acute care hospital
• Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-call is required: 2 nights per week plus 1 weekend every 2 weeks (7 days per pay period)
• Weekends required every other weekend, but may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Floating between facilities within the state is required
• Charting is done in Meditech; Epic experience is also required
• Free parking is available on-site
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending licensure is not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Royal Blue scrubs required for RNs
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
