Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift contract at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Siemens CT equipment.

Details

• Work in the CT department of an acute care hospital
• Patient population is primarily Emergency Department patients, including traumas requiring multiple scans, extremity exams, and stroke protocols
• Average daily census of 30–50 patients
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM
• May be required to float between like units and potentially between facilities within the state
• Epic EMR experience required
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current CA license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment required
• Must be able to work independently
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
