Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a day shift contract at an acute care hospital in Washington State, requiring ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of hospital-based CT experience.

Details

• Full-time day shift position working 40 hours per week
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Performs CT exams with and without power contrast injections in a hospital diagnostic imaging setting
• On-call standby shifts may be assigned as needed by the department
• Accurate patient and image documentation performed in HIS/RIS and PACS systems

Requirements

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) registration required
• BLS (HCP level) required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency with PACS, HIS/RIS, and power contrast injector required
• IV insertion proficiency required
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform frequent/prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs CT exams including appropriate positioning, collimation, and gantry adjustments following Radiologist protocols
• Administers contrast media and performs power contrast injections as appropriate
• Maintains accurate image archiving and patient documentation in PACS and HIS/RIS systems
• May serve as a mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs
• Up to 24 hours of call-off may be available during the course of the assignment
• Facility-specific CT modality orientation will be completed upon start
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
