Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Charge RN position in Rochester, NY, requiring a NY RN license in hand and prior MedSurg leadership experience.

Details

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day and night shift options available, 5x8-hour shifts (Days: 7:00–17:00, Nights: 19:00–5:00)
• Some weekend shifts required
• No floating required
• Epic EMR is required for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Recent MedSurg leadership experience within the past year required
• Experience with staff scheduling and coaching required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Charge RN responsibilities required every shift
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
