Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac/Med-Surg unit in Nashville, TN, requiring at least 2 years of med/surg experience and an active TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Located on the 4th Floor Cardiac/Nephrology unit of an acute care hospital in Nashville, TN
- 34-bed unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Unit is supported by a Unit Secretary on day shift and PCTs on all shifts
- Documents in Meditech EMR
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- 4 weekend shifts required per schedule block
- Floating to other departments based on census needs
Requirements
- Active RN license — TN or compact license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent med/surg experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Navy scrubs are required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- 13-week contract
