Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract in an acute care hospital imaging department, working weekend mid-day shifts with ARDMS certification required.
Details
- Located in the imaging services department on the first floor of a main hospital building
- Weekend shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment
- Meditech EMR system
- Some on-call required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Active US SSN required; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Additional Information
- Olive green top and black pants are the required scrub colors for technologists
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- 2 years of experience is preferred
