Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and certifications including NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and CPI.

• Inpatient Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA only), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience in a US hospital required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation
• Delivers age-appropriate care across the life span
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible; 2 years of US hospital Med/Surg experience is required
