Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active ME or compact RN license.

Details

Day shift schedule in a hospital Operating Room setting
Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
Every other weekend may be required upon request by the Department Manager or Supervisor
13-week contract

Requirements

Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS required within 30 days of start
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and team-oriented work style required

Additional Information

Works under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
Bachelor's degree preferred
Telemetry experience preferred
Holiday coverage required for the following holidays: Christmas, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility before being required to leave for at least 26 weeks
