Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Floating to the Post-Partum unit required as needed
• No block scheduling — must be flexible with scheduling
• Must be available to work at least 2 of 3 holidays if scheduled
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with Magnesium Drips and C-Sections required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, assisting with C-Sections, administering Magnesium Drips, and floating to Post-Partum as needed
• RTO requests of 5 days or less for the duration of the contract
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
