Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience for a 13-week night shift contract in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting.

Details

Inpatient and outpatient hospital CT setting
Patient population spans all ages, from neonates to older adults
Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal imaging, contrast media preparation and administration, and IV starts
Preferred procedures include multiplanar reconstruction, aspirations/biopsies, drainage, brain perfusion, and CTAs
Uses PACS for image management
3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT scan experience required
Current BLS and ARRT-CT certification required
Experience with CT equipment from at least one major manufacturer: GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
Proficiency in computerized documentation and isolation precautions
License required if applicable
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform a broad range of CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal
Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media and starting IVs
Experience with aspirations/biopsies, drainage procedures, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction is preferred
