Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring EKG competency and a TN or compact RN license, working nights every other weekend.

Details

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required
Patient ratio of 1:7–8
Floating is required
EMR: Cerner | Medication System: Omnicell
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license — TN or compact state license required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to start date
Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience required

Additional Information

Orientation is bi-weekly
RTO requests during holiday weeks will not be accommodated — affected holidays include Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; holiday RTO may be discussed directly with the manager after arriving onsite
Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a different pay rate
