Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring EKG competency and a TN or compact RN license, working nights every other weekend.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required
- Patient ratio of 1:7–8
- Floating is required
- EMR: Cerner | Medication System: Omnicell
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — TN or compact state license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
- Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to start date
- Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- RTO requests during holiday weeks will not be accommodated — affected holidays include Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; holiday RTO may be discussed directly with the manager after arriving onsite
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a different pay rate
