Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Medical Imaging - CT department at a Level II Trauma Center in rural South Dakota, with evening shifts and a high-acuity trauma patient population.

Details

Located within a Level II Trauma Center in rural South Dakota
Heavy trauma patient population including falls, MVAs, GSWs, and stabbings
Covers Inpatient, ED, and Outpatient scanning areas — no floating to other departments
Performs higher-level scans including angiograms; CTA experience preferred
ED volume averages 60–70 scans per 24 hours; Outpatient volume averages approximately 50 scans per day
Department operates 4 Siemens scanners exclusively
Epic EMR experience preferred
10-hour evening shifts, primarily nights; specific schedule discussed during interview with leadership
Scheduled shifts are 1:00 PM–11:30 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Weekend rotation required; specific details discussed during interview
Holiday rotation required
No on-call required

Requirements

Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certifications required
Must have graduated from an accredited Radiology Program qualifying for ARRT (R)(CT) certification
No state licensure required; license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
Experience in a facility of comparable size and acuity required
CTA experience preferred
Team-oriented work style essential
DOB and SSN required for consideration
Two professional references dated within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
A second CT Technologist is always on shift alongside you, 24/7
Two-week orientation provided
Scrubs are black or facility-provided
Free parking available on-site
