Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry (4N Cardiac) unit position requiring at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience, ACLS certification, and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Olathe, KS
• Telemetry Unit 4N Cardiac setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 19:00–07:30, three days per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Float to all acute care units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage required, including Memorial Day and July 4th
• Current EMR is Epic

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience required; 2–5 years preferred
• Experience with TR Bands straight from procedure required
• Experience with cardiac drips required (Heparin, Bumetanide, Lasix, and Cardizem)
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on-site at the main campus (NEO) on the first day, followed by facility-specific and director of nursing training, and concludes with a virtual Epic training session
