Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, an active CO or compact RN license, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Cath Lab setting
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start)
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Cath Lab patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and reviews therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and specialty certification are preferred but not required
