Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring 2 years of experience, night shifts, and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment with rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Med/Surg with a 1:7 patient ratio
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside regular patient care responsibilities
