Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 2 years of experience, with night shifts and a 100-mile radius requirement.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• 36-hour work commitment per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• Patient ratio of 1:7

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg with telemetry (MS/Tele) and Med/Surg experience required
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
• 13-week contract
