Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring CVICU experience and NextStage CVVH machine proficiency in a hospital setting.

Details

Hospital-based Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Day and night 12-hour shifts available: days 0700–1930 and nights 1900–0730
Every other weekend required
Some holiday coverage required
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license with WI privileges required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
CVICU nursing experience required
Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
Basic arrhythmia/telemetry experience required
Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable unit experience preferred

Additional Information

Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
First-time travelers are not explicitly noted as welcome — prior travel or strong acute care experience is recommended given the specialty requirements
