Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a large academic hospital setting
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift scheduling will do its best to honor preferred shift, but rotation may occur based on operational needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to any travel assignments
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

• Two professional references required for consideration
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; passing scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting another assignment within the same health system
