Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Acuity-adjustable unit with 2 RNs on day shift and 3 RNs on night shift
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• Evening shift (12 PM start)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or intermediate care nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit — all must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and referring patients for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and unit-appropriate specialty certification are preferred
