Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Full-time position on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (Unit 3)
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• ACLS (or other certifications as appropriate for the unit) required — must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• Epic EMR experience required
• English fluency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and relevant specialty certification preferred
