Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an inpatient acute care Pediatrics position in Springfield, MA, requiring 2 years of experience and a MA RN license.

Details

Inpatient acute care pediatric unit in a hospital setting
45-bed unit serving a diverse patient population from the neonatal period through age 21
Patient diagnoses include medical, surgical, oncology, trauma, orthopedic, and behavioral health conditions
Expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
May float to Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), and Continuing Care Nursery
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
No on-call requirements
13-week contract

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
Current BLS certification required
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment providing comprehensive care across a wide range of pediatric diagnoses
Candidates must be prepared to float to PICU, NICU, and Continuing Care Nursery as needed
