Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift assignment performing CT scans and radiography X-rays in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Works in a hospital CT/Radiology department performing CT scans and general radiography X-rays
• Alternating schedule of 3x12-hour night shifts (Tue–Wed–Thu) one week and 4x12-hour night shifts (Sat–Mon–Fri–Sat) the following week, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Rotational holiday coverage required
• May float within the hospital as needed
• Works alongside regular staff CT/Radiology Technologists
• Meditech EMR (preferred)
• Work settings include adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, OR, and bedside/portable procedures

Requirements

• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required; license required if applicable
• BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT/Radiology Technologist
• Proficiency with GE equipment
• Experience with a broad range of radiography studies including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures
• Experience with portable and bedside imaging
• Two professional references completed within the past two years by a supervisor required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration; candidates requesting a medical or religious exemption must provide a completed facility exemption form within 48 hours of acceptance

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans and general radiography X-rays across a wide range of body regions and patient populations, including adult and pediatric
• Procedures include fluoroscopy studies (barium swallow, contrast enema, upper GI series), trauma cases, C-arm procedures, and portable imaging
• Applies infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety protocols
• Travel experience preferred but not required; candidates with 1 year of experience will be considered
• Local candidates are accepted
• Candidates with background hits will be considered
• Return staff must have been away for at least 6 months and remain in good standing
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of submission
