Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems, for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

Hospital-based MRI department (Magnetic Resonance Imaging unit)
Experience with critically ill patients required
10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday (block schedule)
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, including hospital setting with critically ill patients
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
BLS required
Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems required, specifically XA and B platforms (Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola)
FL license required if applicable
Candidates with a clinical employment gap of 180 or more days will not be considered
At least one professional reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures across a range of ordered exams
Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team
Unit manager interview is required
FL ACHA processing may take up to 14 business days
Closed-toe, non-permeable shoes are required — no permeable footwear allowed
No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 8 days RTO for the duration of a 13-week contract
Flu vaccination is required; medical exemptions are available for the 2025–2026 season with an approved exemption form
