Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and proven experience in high-volume, Level 1 trauma environments for a night shift weekend position.

Details

• Acute care, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with stroke and burn programs
• CT department features 3 scanners in the ECC, 2 for inpatient, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight — 7 total scanners including GE Revolution and older GE platforms
• Night shift schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12)
• No on-call required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Experience in high-volume, large-scale Level 1 trauma environments required
• Background managing critical, fast-paced situations with diverse and severe case types
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Active state license required if applicable

• This is a high-acuity facility that handles complex trauma, stroke, and burn cases — candidates must be prepared for an intense, fast-paced work environment
• Typical staffing target is 6 CT Techs per shift, though the team may operate with as few as 4
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
