Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift travel contract requiring chemotherapy certification and experience with chest tubes.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric Surgery unit at a suburban hospital located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient ratio is typically 1:4, with potential for 1:5 depending on acuity
• Rotating weekends required, with every other weekend worked
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to Med/Surg/Tele as needed
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Experience with chemotherapy administration required
• Experience with chest tubes required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
