Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk L&D and cesarean circulator experience, with night shift hours in a Milwaukee-area hospital.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- High-risk labor and delivery patient population
- Circulator experience for cesarean deliveries is a component of this role
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Holiday coverage on a rotating basis with regular staff
- Epic EMR used
- Floating may be required within skill set, either onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- High-risk L&D experience required
- Circulator experience for cesarean deliveries required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP (AHA/AAP)
- Fetal monitoring competency required; if not covered on competency exam, AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program within the past 2 years is accepted
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Documents required for consideration: full Social Security Number, full date of birth, copy of Driver's License, skills checklist, 2 professional references, copies of certifications, and license verification/Nursys
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible for a reduced pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
