Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and prior travel nursing experience, with on-call responsibilities and potential floating within 40 miles.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
- Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per day, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call requirements based on department needs, currently 1–2 call nights per week (5:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Weekend call coverage required every 4th weekend (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
- Holiday coverage handled via call rotation shared with regular staff
- Epic EMR
- Floating may be required within skill set, either on-site or to facilities within 40 miles
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be AHA-issued
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Structural heart experience preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US domestic home address
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Structural heart procedures experience is a preferred but not required qualification
- Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
- Full SSN and full date of birth will be required as part of the submission process
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
