Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablader atherectomy, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant/closure device procedures
• Role involves scrub and circulator responsibilities, including maintaining a sterile field and equipment setup
• Requires recognition and interpretation of dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements apply
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, and CCI RCIS
• Proficiency in scrub procedures, sterile technique, and room circulator duties
• Experience with cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, IABP, and closure devices
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
