Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric hospital-based CT Scan unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and active LSRT and ARRT certifications.

Details

• CT Scan unit at a pediatric hospital, with floating to X-ray as needed
• Also serves a freestanding emergency room location in Metairie, LA
• Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday 10:00 AM–8:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (38 hours/week)
• 4x9.5-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technology license) required; temporary LSRT accepted and can be obtained within 3–5 days of submitting the fee and proof of ARRT certification
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Work history with explanations for any gaps of more than 30 days required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to ensure optimal departmental function
• Demonstrates proficiency with CT equipment and the performance of all CT protocols and procedures
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
