Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric hospital-based CT Scan unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and active LSRT and ARRT certifications.
Details
- CT Scan unit at a pediatric hospital, with floating to X-ray as needed
- Also serves a freestanding emergency room location in Metairie, LA
- Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday 10:00 AM–8:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (38 hours/week)
- 4x9.5-hour day shifts
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Active LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technology license) required; temporary LSRT accepted and can be obtained within 3–5 days of submitting the fee and proof of ARRT certification
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Work history with explanations for any gaps of more than 30 days required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to ensure optimal departmental function
- Demonstrates proficiency with CT equipment and the performance of all CT protocols and procedures
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
