Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring strong circulator skills and experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures including TAVRs, CABG, and valve replacements.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Performs advanced cardiovascular procedures including TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Day shift schedule: 3x12.5-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• No regularly scheduled weekend shifts; on-call weekend requirements apply
• On-call required 2x per month, weekends only, with available call shifts of 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AM
• May be required to float to the Main OR after 2:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong circulator experience required in a CVOR setting
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, and Aortic Dissections
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
