Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens scanner experience for a night shift travel contract at a Trauma Level III acute care hospital.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 366 staffed beds, designated as a Trauma Level III facility
- CT department equipped with three Siemens scanners: two 128-slice and one 64-slice units
- Patient population spans all ages, with approximately 90% of cases being adult ER studies including head, maxillofacial, chest (PE and dissection), abdomen, code stroke, CTA head/neck, brain perfusion, spine, and extremity imaging
- Charting via Epic and PACS
- Mixed shift schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays are 8-hour evening shifts (4:00 PM–12:30 AM); Fridays and Saturdays are 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- No on-call requirements
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from all system facilities to be eligible
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Siemens CT scanners
- Proficiency in IV placement and IV contrast administration required
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Epic and PACS experience preferred
- Must be able to scan patients of all ages and conditions
- License required if applicable — pending state license accepted, but must be active by start date
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a high-volume ER-driven caseload including stroke protocols, CTA, PE and dissection workups, and musculoskeletal studies
- Works alongside other CT technologists with on-call backup technologist support available
- Grey scrubs required
- Free parking on site
- RTO requests are considered per contract terms
- Local candidates are not accepted except in hard-to-fill circumstances
