Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment performing both CT and X-ray imaging in an acute care hospital setting, with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.

Details

• Work in a 90-bed acute care hospital CT unit
• Performs both CT imaging and X-rays during overnight shifts
• Approximately 70 visits per day
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend availability required
• ER and outpatient experience required
• Uses Epic EMR, PACS, and Siemens equipment
• May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs
• No floating to sister facilities required
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience
• BLS required
• ARRT CT certification preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with PACS and Siemens equipment required
• ER and outpatient imaging experience required
• Valid MO state license required for consideration; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license (license required if applicable)
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Perform CT scans and X-rays overnight across ER and outpatient settings
• No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Former permanent employees of this facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
