Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an overnight shift position performing both CT and X-ray imaging, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 90 beds
• CT scan unit performing both CT imaging and X-rays overnight
• High-volume environment with approximately 70 patient visits per day
• ER and outpatient patient populations
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend availability required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• No floating to sister facilities required
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT CT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Proficiency with PACS and Siemens equipment required
• ER and outpatient experience required
• MO State License required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No block scheduling available
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any facility in this health system as a traveler
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required; Allied and non-clinical travelers may stay up to 12 months before a 6-month break is required
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to or during the start of the assignment
