Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I trauma center in Kansas City, MO, working Friday through Sunday day shifts.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting with 18 ORs
• Procedures include cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotic surgeries (DaVinci and Mako systems)
• Level I trauma center
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• 13-week contract
• Floating is not applicable to the OR

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Proficiency in OR skills required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Robotic surgery experience (DaVinci and Mako) is a plus given the procedures performed on the unit
