Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - CT) for a 13-week travel assignment requiring strong CT scanning experience and ARRT certification in both Radiography and CT.

Details

• CT Body imaging department at a large academic medical center in Rochester, MN
• Two available schedule options: Job 1 - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon–Fri (inject only on Fridays); Job 2 - 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Mon and Wed–Fri (Tuesdays off)
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Flexibility required for varied shift lengths, on-call pager response, and coverage including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT scanning experience required, or at least 3 completed travel assignments
• Associate's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited radiography program required
• Active ARRT - Radiography (R) and ARRT - CT certifications required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Active state license required (no pending licenses accepted) — license required if applicable
• Siemens CT scanner experience preferred
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent work skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• English fluency (speak, read, write) required
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Produces high-quality diagnostic CT images in compliance with radiology department standards
• Maintains competence across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
• Practices and enforces radiation safety guidelines for patients, self, and support personnel
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations and shift schedules
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
