Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a 13-week assignment in Denver, CO.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
  • Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • On-call requirement: 1 weekday and 1 weekend call per month
  • Team of 3 techs on the unit
  • Procedures include Y-90, line placements, complex biliary, biopsies, and vascular interventions — no neuro
  • Siemens IR equipment
  • EMR: Meditech

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience required
  • Vascular Interventional (VI) experience preferred
  • Experience with Siemens IR equipment preferred
  • Active ARRT certification and applicable state license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)
  • Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role applied for
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions
  • One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
  • Perform vascular and non-vascular IR procedures including Y-90 radioembolization, central line placements, complex biliary interventions, image-guided biopsies, and vascular studies
  • Ideal candidate is accountable, positive, and team-oriented
  • This is a winter travel assignment in Denver, CO with access to nearby mountains, skiing, and snowboarding
