Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele - Nights position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience and a CO or Compact RN license.

Details

Acute care/med-surg adult unit in a hospital setting
Patient population includes post-orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedure/surgery recovery, and patients with acute and chronic illnesses
Observation and telemetry monitoring required
12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation
Participation in the on-call rotation is required, with 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed for staffing
13-week contract

Requirements

Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in med/surg, acute care, or telemetry
Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

Additional Information

Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
ACLS is required to provide intermediate care coverage in the CCU as needed
Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Facility-owned furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments are available for rent within walking distance of the hospital, subject to availability
