Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care hospital radiology department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and Epic proficiency.

Details

Acute care hospital radiology department performing CT imaging for both adult and pediatric populations
Outpatient and inpatient CT services; IR services are limited to adults only
2 CT Techs cover inpatient and 1 covers outpatient
Uses Canon/Toshiba CT equipment, Fuji Synapse PACS, and Epic EMR
Monday through Friday, 8-hour evening shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Travelers are not required to work weekends or holidays
No on-call requirement
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
ARRT (CT) certification required
WV state license required if applicable
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT scanners and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred
Must be able to start IVs
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

Performs CT exams across a broad range of imaging studies for adult and pediatric patients
No lead tech on site; department is overseen by a Radiology Director/Manager
In-house radiologist coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; on-call radiologist available 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Orientation is generally up to 2 weeks depending on experience
Black scrubs are required for all technologists
Radiation dosimetry badge must be supplied by the staffing agency; facility does not provide one
Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
2 supervisor/peer references required, including 1 supervisor reference; if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility
Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis per standard WVU system requirements
