Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume academic medical center in Los Angeles, CA, requiring 3+ years of high-risk L&D experience and night shift availability.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in a large academic medical center setting in Los Angeles, CA
Cares for patients throughout the full childbirth experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care
Circulates NSVDs and C-Sections
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00)
Four weekend shifts (Friday night and/or Saturday night) required per 4-week schedule
Floating to a sister facility's Perinatal unit is required as needed

Requirements

Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
Current certifications: BLS and NRP
Minimum 3 years of L&D experience in a high-risk facility required
Couplet care experience required
Academic medical center experience preferred
At least one prior travel assignment required
