Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of circulating experience for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital in Yakima, WA.

Details

• Work in the OR of a 226-bed non-profit community hospital with 7 ORs at the main facility and 3 ORs at an attached ASC
• Case types include adult and pediatric: ENT, general, GI, GYN, orthopedic, robotics (Da Vinci), and urology
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (or 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM on 12-hour days), with a rotating day off
• Approximately 1 weekend rotation per month
• On-call required for day shift only: 4–5 shifts per month from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following day; weekend call is 24 hours
• No floating required
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR circulating experience required
• Prior circulating experience in ENT, general, GI, GYN, orthopedic, robotic (Da Vinci), and/or urology cases required
• Two supervisor-level references required prior to start; one reference may be submitted at time of consideration
• Epic EMR experience

Additional Information

• Circulate in a variety of adult and pediatric surgical cases across multiple OR specialties
• Navy scrubs are provided by the facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
