Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room for a travel contract in Plano, TX, requiring 12+ months of Neuro OR experience and a current TX RN license.

Details

Day shift position, 6.5-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), Monday through Friday
On-call required 1–2 shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month
Surgery unit within a comprehensive stroke center hospital
Neuro-focused OR caseload, including neuro interventional radiology (IR) cases
6-week contract

Requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 12 months of current Neuro OR experience required
At least 1 year of acute hospital OR experience within the last 3 years
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Two completed supervisor/manager references required for consideration
A valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration
NURSYS verification and state primary source verification (both within the last 30 days) required for consideration
Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must be prepared to scrub and circulate any neuro case, including neuro IR
This is a comprehensive stroke center, requiring versatility across complex neurological procedures
