Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

Medical/surgical telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Patient population includes pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, altered mental status (AMS), and sepsis
Night shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6; charge nurse carries a reduced patient load when unit is fully staffed
Night shift: 7p-7a (3x12-hour shifts)
36 hours per week with the option to pick up additional PRN hours
Every other weekend required
Floating required as needed to like medical/surgical departments
No on-call requirement
Epic EMR used

Requirements

Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Med/surg telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Holiday time-off requests are not accepted; specific dates may be discussed with the manager based on unit availability
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
