Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3-5 years of hospital or imaging center experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a Radiology CT department.
Details
- Radiology CT department in a hospital setting
- Rotating schedule: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Tuesday, Friday — 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Performs high-quality CT scans for diagnostic purposes across a variety of clinical cases
- Advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging are part of the scope of practice
- EMR: Epic (charting)
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center
- 2-3 years of experience with advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging preferred
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required; experience cannot be substituted for the degree
- ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist) certification preferred
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification preferred
- Active MA state Radiologic Technologist license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross, CHSF, and Military cards not accepted at this location)
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
Additional Information
- Performs CT imaging procedures per physician orders and established protocols, including patient positioning, immobilization, and equipment calibration
- Reviews patient history and prior imaging studies before scans and maintains accurate documentation of procedures and results
- Collaborates with radiologists for accurate image interpretation and follows up on additional imaging requests
- Adheres to infection control and radiation safety protocols throughout all procedures
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily; public transportation is recommended
