Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 trauma center in Rogers, AR, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a 250-bed Level 3 trauma center hospital OR
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (4x10)
• 13-week contract
• No weekend, float, or on-call requirements
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or valid compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and basic EKG/arrhythmia-identification certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care for all age groups, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Practice must align with established nursing guidelines, scope of practice, and organizational standards
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of RTO is permitted but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• All certifications must be current at the start of the assignment with no expirations within the first 30 days unless documented renewal is scheduled
