Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Temple, TX, requiring 5 years of experience and ARRT-MR certification for overnight shifts in a clinic serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Details

• Clinic setting serving both inpatient and outpatient MRI populations
• 4x10 hour overnight (NOC) shifts, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Siemens MRI equipment experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only), ARRT-MR, and TX-MRT required
• Active Texas MRT license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol under general supervision of a Radiologist, serving newborn through geriatric patient populations
• Responsible for patient screening, positioning, and immobilization device setup prior to each procedure
• Maintains accurate imaging records and relevant documentation including patient history, consent forms, and pregnancy status
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols; applies sterile technique for invasive multimodality procedures
• Collaborates with engineers and physicists to maintain optimal equipment performance and assists with supply inventory
• May serve as a preceptor for new team members and on new services or initiatives
• Call requirements may apply
• Scrubs in any solid color or appropriate print are acceptable; scrubs must be self-purchased
