Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (Telemetry) position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour evening shifts (12 PM start)
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Full-time, 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or intermediate care nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) — must not expire prior to assignment start
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 verifiable references required

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for intermediate care patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
